Qingdao nauticstar marine Co.,Ltd has a large powerful R&D technology, a strong R&D team, and an independently R&D center.

R & D Center was established in October 2000, which consisted of CAD design center，Digital control processing workshop，Painting workshop，Outfitting workshop，Carpenter workshop Vacuum compound composite workshop and so on. The R&D center can make design and R&D of many new yachts at the same time.

The creative team in R & D center has more than 60 people, all of them are senior engineering and technical people which include eighteen foreign senior engineers and designers. The whole people in R&D team consist of Industrial Designers, Mechanical Designers, Mold Designers, Electrical and Mechanical Designers, Ship Designers, Car Designers, Interior Designers, Environmental Planning Designer, Exhibition Designer, and other professional  areas’, and all of them have at least 5 years professional experience. They designed a lot of selling cars, yachts, and other water entertainment products. It is a very comprehensive and  a high-level design team which has obtained more than 50 items of patented technologies with independent intellectual property. The general designer who graduated from the University of Oxford majored in Transportation Design, and had a very rich professional knowledge and practical experience of vehicle, yacht, and light aircraft design and manufacture. He ever successively worked in the internationally renowned brand GM and Ford and designed concept vehicles for them. Ford has awarded him the title of Honorary Life designer.

The company now has a medium-sized five-axis CNC machining center platform, three medium-sized CNC engraving machine, one universal testing machine, three vacuum equipment, one large-scale Spray Booth , one medium-sized water-cutting machine, one wood measuring instrument, three thickness testers, one surface gloss instrument, one Pakistan hardness tester and one detector; The designers with international standards mainly used CATIA, RHINO professional design software in tandem with genuine AUTOCAD, PROE for development and design, design process in full accordance with the world's most sophisticated automotive design and development processes.

From the foundation of Qingdao nauticstar marine Co.,Ltd till now, its R&D department has independently designed and developed many products which have gained remarkable accomplishment in many fields.

Remarkable achievements

1. In 1999, it cooperated with China Changchun FAW CO, Ltd. to develop and design interior trimming of FAW HongQi “Century Star.” And has successively developed electrical moving rear seat, auto close-stance incubator, electric central handrail, electric curtain, electric disconnecting rampart and electric plafond, close-stance LCD ＴＶ and created the first electric moving pedals in the world.

2. In April 2001, our company began the research and development of marine OJ (Patent product) and rubber dinghy;

3. In January 2002, our company designed FAW Hongqi high and luxury interior

4. In June 2002, our company began the R&D of water TJ, 4 stroke EFI fuel inboard engine and so on.

5.In November 2002, our company began the development and manufacture of OJ engine mold.

6.In June 2004, our company began to produce the mold of RIB yacht abroad, and launched the first phase of RIB yacht series . There were four kinds of models: NSR320, NSR480, NSR680, NSR850 . They won critical acclaim at home and abroad market.

7.In November 2004, our company also was invited to participate in the international marine equipment trade show held in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Gomez). In the exhibition, our company's self-designed OJ engine won acclaims from the experts in this industry by virtue of its unique shape, environmentally-friendly features, excellent performance, and the world's first mini-UNI-CON hands of the control system.

8.In March 2008, the company undertook a design of the national secret automobile project , development and production work, and successfully completed its mission, and delivered the product in September 2009.

9.In May 2008, the BF850 patrol boat our company independently designed was designated as the Security boat for 2010 Hainan Boao Forum, Guangzhou Asian Games and Shanghai World Expo. And our company was designated as the fixed-point manufacturer.
